Nepathya Returns to New York for a Live Concert at Terminal 5 This Coming Friday

After nearly a decade, the renowned Nepali folk rock band Nepathya is set to perform live in New York on August 30, 2024. This eagerly awaited concert will take place at Terminal 5, a prominent venue located in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and multi-level event space, Terminal 5 can accommodate up to 3,000 attendees.

Nepathya, celebrated for their energetic performances and unique blend of traditional Nepali folk music with rock, promises an unforgettable evening. Amrit Gurung, the band’s lead singer and founder, expressed his excitement about the upcoming show, describing it as not just a performance but a celebration of their musical journey.



Formed in 1990, Nepathya has become a cornerstone of Nepali music. The band has produced numerous hits, including “Chhekyo Chhekyo,” “Resham,” and “Bhedako Unjasto.” Their music often reflects the cultural and social landscapes of Nepal, resonating deeply with audiences both at home and abroad.
