New York City celebrated Independence Day 2025 with its annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, returning to the East River. Launched from the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and four barges positioned in the Lower East River near the Seaport District, the 25-minute display dazzled with 80,000 shells in 30 colors and shapes.

Highlights included crackling crown jellyfish, atomic rings, yellow and green sunbursts, and strobing lemon cascades, with the Brooklyn Bridge’s towers serving as a canvas for stunning projection mapping for the first time.
