A lucky New Yorker is celebrating a big win after the New York Lottery announced that a top-prize-winning ticket for the February 13 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing was sold in Manhattan. The winning ticket, worth $33,089.00, was purchased at Players Cafe, located at 241 Bleecker St, Manhattan.
TAKE 5 is a popular draw game where players select numbers from a field of one through 39. Drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with prizes awarded to players who match two or more numbers.
Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, generating significant revenue to support public schools across New York State. In the fiscal year 2023-2024, the lottery contributed $3.8 billion to education funding.
