Nepali Man Dies in Single-Vehicle Accident in San Pablo, California

A Nepali man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in San Pablo, California, early Thursday morning. The accident occurred on San Pablo Avenue near 23rd Street around 2:21 AM.

According to the San Pablo Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find a Toyota sedan with front-end damage. The driver, who was the only occupant of the car, was unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police investigation revealed that the Toyota was traveling southbound on San Pablo Avenue when it collided with a concrete pillar on the west curb and veered off the road. The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Authorities are looking into whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
