The Greater New York Nepali Chamber of Commerce (GNYNCC) has taken a significant step forward in its mission to support and advocate for the Nepali business community in the Greater New York area with the announcement of its new Executive Committee and Advisory Board.

Our leadership team embodies a wealth of experience and dedication, and we are confident in our ability to achieve our goals and make a lasting impact.”
The Executive Committee of the Greater New York Nepali Chamber of Commerce is led by President Pradip Shrestha, with Tsepak D. Gurung as the Vice President and Director of Business Development, Yadab Bastola as the Secretary and Director of Secretariat, Pashupati Shrestha as the Treasurer and Director of Finance, Tshering Gurung as the Director of Resources & Training, Dr. Sulochana Gurung as the Director of Community Affairs, Deepak Shrestha as the Director of Event Management, Nevin Chhetri as the Director of Government Affairs & Advocacy, and Nishchal Banskota as the Director of Entrepreneurship & Marketing.
The Advisory Board comprises influential figures such as Amit Pratap Shah, Gobinda Lama, Janga B Bom, Gyaljen Nuru Sherpa, Khagendra GC, Manita Gurung, Nabaraj KC, Pasang Nuru Sherpa, Samir Maharjan, and Urgen Sherpa. Providing legal counsel to the Chamber are Legal Advisors Lawyer Bashu D Phulara and Lawyer Keshab Raj Seadie. This team of dedicated professionals and experts is set to guide the Chamber towards achieving its goals and advocating for the Nepali business community in New York.
Established in 2023, the GNYNCC has seen rapid growth, culminating in its first general meeting in March and a formal inauguration program held in April. The newly formed working committees were meticulously structured to ensure diverse representation and effective leadership, as outlined in the organization’s constitution.
With this new leadership structure, the GNYNCC is poised to make a significant impact on the economic and social prosperity of the Nepali business community in New York.
