The June 2026 U.S. Visa Bulletin shows the final action date for several family-based green card categories, including spouses and children of green card holders, with some categories advancing and others remaining unchanged.

The bulletin’s final action dates also show limited movement in some family-based categories. The final action date for spouses and children of permanent residents remains Jan. 1, 2025 for all countries, while the final action date for unmarried sons and daughters 21 and older of permanent residents advances to Sept. 22, 2017 from May 22, 2017. The final action date for brothers and sisters of adult U.S. citizens moves to Nov. 8, 2008 from Sept. 15, 2008.

The State Department notes that immigrant visa issuance rates for some countries have been affected by national security and public safety measures, and that retrogression could occur if demand rises further or annual limits are reached.
