Applications for Miss Nepal North America (MNNA) 2025 are officially open as of today, offering an opportunity for women of Nepali heritage across North America to step into the spotlight. Under the theme “Beyond Glamour, Embracing Grace: Where Every Face Tells a Story,” this year’s pageant invites contestants to embark on a courageous journey of self-expression, resilience, and purpose.
The MNNA 2025 organizer announced the opening with enthusiasm, promising an event that goes beyond traditional beauty standards. “This is a night of unparalleled grace and glamour, where beauty is more than skin deep,” the organizer declared.
“We’re celebrating the radiance of dreams, the strength of character, and the unique stories each contestant brings. It’s a stage where diversity shines, and every smile reflects inner power. The pageant is more than a competition—it’s a platform to inspire, uplift, and make a lasting impact,” said Shailendra Shrestha, founder of Dreams Universal and CEO of Miss Nepal North America.
Starting today, February 22, 2025, aspiring participants are encouraged to apply. “Wear your authenticity like a crown and let the world witness the extraordinary beauty that is uniquely yours,” the release urged. Contestants are invited to showcase not just their elegance but the resilience and convictions that define them.
The MNNA organizer emphasized the pageant’s deeper mission: empowering women to leave an indelible mark on the world. “This is your invitation to step into the spotlight with confidence and a heart full of purpose,” they added. “Together, let’s transcend standards and create a legacy of positive change.”
Anna Koirala from North Carolina was crowned Miss Nepal North America 2024. The final competition took place at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, New York. In 2023, the title was held by Jubilee Sherpa. Previous winners of the pageant include Monica Ghale in 2018, Sriya Gajurel in 2019, Garima Gyawali in 2021, and Pratiyusha Bohara in 2022. The competition for 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
