Starting today, some U.S. embassies, including the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, have made changes to their appointment system. The login, profile, and appointment scheduling pages have a new look, and the web address for logging in is also different from the previous system.
Those logging into the new system will need to create a new profile, and this change applies to existing users as well, according to the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal. The new system will require every visa applicant, including children, to have their own profile with a working email address. The embassy has emphasized that the email address used must be active.
To schedule a visa appointment through the new system in Nepal, please click here.

You can register your profile by clicking the signup link, and existing users will be required to use the same email address that was previously used for their payment receipt and future appointments when registering. If the visa fee was paid before or on February 3, 2025, but was not linked to your profile, you will need to visit the signup link to retrieve your receipt.
Additionally, the embassy has announced that the premium document delivery and premium document submission charges will be revised starting February 8, 2025. These changes will also apply to those who opted for premium services before February 8, 2025.
The U.S. Embassy in Egypt, U.S. Embassy in Tunisia, U.S. Embassy in Bangladesh, U.S. Embassy in Morocco, and several other embassies and consulates have also implemented a new system for U.S. Visa Services starting February 8, 2025.
