The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is urging users to take advantage of its existing “Live Chat” feature, facilitated by their virtual assistant, Emma. Available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, this feature aims to streamline customer service by providing immediate assistance for a wide range of immigration-related queries.
Emma, the virtual assistant, is designed to handle many questions independently. However, in instances where Emma cannot provide an answer, users can be connected to live assistance. This initiative is part of USCIS’s ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility and efficiency in their services.
To start using the Live Chat feature, visit USCIS’s website.
Skip the call and use the "Live Chat" feature that Emma our virtual assistant provides. Emma enables you to reach live assistance Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET in certain instances if Emma cannot answer the question. Get started today: https://t.co/GwNQ7NVt0G

“Emma answers questions based on your own words; you don’t need to know “government speak”. She also knows a lot of common search terms. She can provide immediate responses to your questions about all of our services, guide you through our website and find information based on the questions and search terms you use. Emma is fluent in both English and Spanish, and she will always type out her answers. Below Emma’s answer, she might also offer information related to your question. If you have the sound on, she’ll also talk to you. (Currently, the sound feature is only available on our English website.) ,” reads the USCIS website.
