Nepali Community in the US Unites to Raise Funds for 5-Year-Old Blood Cancer Patient

Nepali community members in the United States have come together to raise funds for a 5-year-old girl from Doti, Pranisha Sijapati, who is suffering from blood cancer. The Amar Chhetri Foundation collected NRS 350,000, which was handed over to Pranisha’s father, Hari Sijapati.

To raise funds for Pranisha’s treatment, a musical program called Mahakal was organized by Culture Majesty and the Amar Chhetri Foundation in Dallas, Texas. The event featured performances by popular Nepali artists, including Aksha Band, Nima Rumba, and Parijita Bastola.

Pranisha has been battling blood cancer for the past two years, and her family is preparing to take her to India for a bone marrow transplant. The funds raised in the United States will help cover the medical expenses for Pranisha’s treatment.

The Nepali community members in the United States have shown their generosity and support for Pranisha and her family during this difficult time. The donation will go a long way in helping Pranisha receive the treatment she needs to fight cancer.
