The Greater New York Nepali Chamber of Commerce will celebrate its second anniversary and Nepali New Year 2083 on Saturday, April 18, with an evening cruise event aboard the Horizon departing from Pier 81 on West 41st Street.
The celebration, running from 6 to 11 p.m., will feature dinner, live music and networking opportunities for Nepali American entrepreneurs and community members. Boarding begins at 6 p.m. and the cruise will depart at 7 p.m. for a three-and-a-half-hour scenic voyage along the Manhattan skyline.
Turkish Airlines is the presenting sponsor of the event and will offer two business class international tickets through a raffle. The event also includes a raffle for an iPhone 17 Pro Max, sponsored by United Wireless of Jackson Heights, Queens.
Renowned Nepali artists Adrian Pradhan and Nalina Chitrakar are scheduled to perform live, with attendees enjoying curated Nepali cuisine, unlimited beverages and cultural entertainment.
“Our goal is to promote Nepali culture while strengthening business connections within our community,” said Pradip Shrestha, president of the Greater New York Nepali Chamber of Commerce. “This event is not only a celebration of our journey but also a platform to bring entrepreneurs together and build meaningful relationships.”
The chamber is inviting community members from New York, New Jersey and nearby states to join the event, which is open to both members and nonmembers. Tickets are priced at $175 for members and $199 for nonmembers, available through TixFix.
