Fair Lawn, NJ Honors Nepali Immigrant Sanjeev Shrestha for Donating Blood 62 Times

Sanjeev Shrestha, a Nepali immigrant and social activist residing in New Jersey, has been recognized for his continuous blood donations and community service. Fair Lawn, NJ has recognized Nepali immigrant Sanjeev Shrestha for donating blood 62 times. Shrestha is well-known as a dedicated social activist in the New York and New Jersey regions among Nepali communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he exemplified humanity by assisting Nepali students in various ways.

This time, Shrestha received special recognition for his exceptional efforts. The Borough Council and Mayor Gail Rottenstrich, Mayor of the Borough of Fair Lawn, County of Bergen, State of NJ, honored him, stating, “Mr. Shrestha’s consistent dedication to this life-saving cause serves as an inspiration to all, reminding us of the profound impact one individual can have on the lives of many.”

“The Borough of Fair Lawn is proud to recognize and celebrate Mr. Shrestha’s ongoing commitment to improving the health and well-being of others through his remarkable efforts,” the proclamation signed by Mayor Gail Rottenstrich reads. “The Borough Council and I, Mayor Gail Rottenstrich, Mayor of the Borough of Fair Lawn, County of Bergen, State of NJ, do hereby proclaim Saturday, January 4, 2025, to be ‘Mr. Sanjeev Shrestha Day’ within the Borough of Fair Lawn and do hereby extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Sanjeev Shrestha for his outstanding contributions to the community and commend his exemplary dedication to humanity.”
