USCIS Addresses Biometric Appointment Scheduling Issues, Impacted Applicants to be Accommodated

Many immigration applicants have recently faced issues scheduling their mandatory biometric appointments. Reports indicate applicants receiving notices late or for dates that have already passed.

USCIS is taking swift action to rectify the situation and prevent future occurrences. The agency has identified the root cause of the issue and is implementing corrective measures. Additionally, USCIS has issued guidance to Application Support Centers (ASCs) to accommodate impacted applicants.

Applicants who receive late or outdated appointment notices are advised to visit their designated ASC with the notice in hand. USCIS assures these individuals will be processed accordingly to minimize disruption to their immigration applications.
