Dreams Universal LLC has announced the Top 20 finalists for Miss Nepal North America 2026, marking the ninth annual edition of the pageant that highlights Nepali women’s leadership, culture and achievements across the United States and Canada.
For the first time, the grand finale will be held in Washington, D.C., departing from its traditional New York venue. Organizers said the move aligns with the United States’ upcoming 250th anniversary, underscoring the growing visibility and contributions of the Nepali diaspora within the broader American narrative.
The finalists were selected from a competitive pool and represent a wide range of professional and academic backgrounds, including the U.S. military, health care, aviation, engineering, information technology, entrepreneurship and community advocacy.
“Miss Nepal North America is not simply about winning a title,” said Shailendra Shrestha, chairman of Dreams Universal LLC. “It is about creating opportunities for young women to discover their strengths, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and embrace their cultural identity with pride.”
The competition emphasizes leadership development, cultural engagement and community service, going beyond traditional pageantry. Contestants will participate in interviews, cultural presentations, talent showcases and leadership-focused activities leading up to the finale.
