Diya Shrestha of New Jersey has been crowned Miss Nepal North America 2025, following a highly competitive pageant held at the Melrose Ballroom.
The event, presented by Dreams Universal and sponsored by Healthy Choice Aesthetic Hospital, featured 17 contestants from across the United States.
After a series of rounds, Krishma Subedi was named First Runner-Up, and Arya Koirala of Texas was declared Second Runner-Up.
The event celebrated Nepali heritage and culture, with vibrant musical and dance performances. A panel of judges from Nepal and the U.S. selected the winner.
The panel included: Aanchal Sharma, Pradeep Khadka, Anoop Bikram Shahi, Rajendra Shrestha, Bashu Phulara, Dinesh Senchury, Jubilee Sherpa, Dr. Dilasha Neupane and Sneha Shrestha.
As Miss Nepal North America 2025, Diya Shrestha will compete in the Miss Nepal 2026 pageant in Kathmandu. The event’s founder, Shailendra Shrestha, emphasized the platform’s mission to empower young women and promote cultural identity.
“This platform is designed to empower young women, helping them build leadership skills and social responsibility while strengthening their connection to their cultural roots,” he stated. “It is a celebration of identity, leadership, and community.”
The pageant was hosted by Suresh Shahi and Sagarika Shrestha, with choreography by Sadikshya Shrestha.
