The Nepali residing in Long Island welcomed, congratulated, and endorsed Jack Blumenkranz, the Republican candidate of District 15 for the New York State Parliament, on November 8, in the US election to win.
The program was completed in Hicksville under the leadership and invitation of Bed Prasad Kharel, a former general committee member of the Nepali Congress. Candidate Jack also participated in the Deusi Bhailo program, which he danced for on the occasion of Tihar.
He was welcomed by Bed Prasad Kharel, wearing a cap, NRN America Board of Directors Biswa Bastola, Samata Global Senate senior Vice Chairman Tika Dhakal, Long Island Nepali Society President Basant Chapagai, Long Island Nepali Society General Secretary Baburam Sharma, social personalities Yadav Bastola, Shankar Bhandari, Ek Raj Gautam, Kedar Kattel, Narendra Subedi, youths Bikash Kharel, Sunita Khanal Paudel, and others were welcomed by giving information about the situation of the Nepali community.
Bed Kharel stated that Nepali people should have access to the USA’s local and state governments. He said that they should help those who support the Nepali community’s local issues at the local level, and that’s the reason that we should choose the Republican candidate Jack Blumenkranz.
